RAZOR & TIE Extends Deal With PROSTHETIC RECORDS
January 14, 2004Hits Daily Double reports: "Indie label Razor & Tie, whose deal with Triple Crown produced a smash album for L.I. emo band BRAND NEW, has extended its relationship with successful rock label Prosthetic Records. Run by ex-Metal Blade exec E.J. Johantgen and one-time HITS gruler Dan Fitzgerald, Prosthetic's roster includes highly acclaimed metal act LAMB OF GOD, HIMSA, CANNAE, ALL THAT REMAINS, CREMATORIUM and BYZANTINE. The first release under the pact will be LAMB OF GOD's current album 'As the Palaces Burn', originally released by Prosthetic Records through Razor & Tie in May 2003, shipping over 75,000 units to date. The band co-headlined MTV's Headbanger's Ball Tour with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and SHADOWS FALL. In addition, their video 'Ruin' is enjoying airplay on MTV2 and Fuse."
